Exam in 1 week and i still haven't started my revision, but anyways, the astro stayovers were still delightful:)
I thought i say gemini, but it turned out to be saturn or sth, but it really looked like gemini from the planesphere!
Mae Hwee joined us for a while during astro, because she stayed in the hostel. She's so nice:) Whee... and as usual, jue hang was pro about astro and he kept talking about the tycho crater on the moon... then for a moment i didn't know why, maybe we got bored of looking at stars, mr lim took out his laser pen and asked me to pluck out a strand of my hair. What can you do with a laser and a strand of hair? haha... i think it's his favourite experiment, the diffraction experiment. we saw this alternate black white thing that he showed us during beyond foundation physics. quantum mechanics (L)!
anyways, when we went into the hostel, we went to the observatory to see stars better, but the sky was seriously light polluted and there were quite a lot of stars, still i could se centauri alpha and antares! (L) i saw the southern crux too! still, no matter how much mr lim pointed, i couldn't see the big dipper at all. but it was so scary then, there were a lot of lightning in the sky and it seemed as if you could get struck anytime, but then these "jokers" in our class began touching the metal railings! i didn't realise how scary it was until mr lim said "look. they are touching the metal railing." hehe:) then mr lim said we must all stand 45 degress down withing the silver rod, and that it's safe. no wonder he's been standing there.
while mr lim walked to check if we could stay in the hostel again, our class saw this cloud and there were a lot of perceptions.but i was seriously getting affected by biology. my friends though they saw a mushroom, a dinosaur and a dog. guess what i saw... ZzZ... i thought the cloud really resembled a kidney with a renal vein sticking out. GOSH. bio is getting to my brain and i can't but feel drained.
anyways, we went back to the hostel. because the deadline of the VB is extended, i didn't continue the powerpoint and started playing. I CAN'T believe it i'm such a stupid slacker. STOP MOLLIE!! Ah! anyways, i played like 1 hour+ then i went to bed. it was so cool sleeping in the hostel. did i mention how comfortable it was? there was no bedsheets and the bed was hard, but it was so comfortable. you can put the fan at top speed there without your blankets!! Whee. hooray for the wind! then we woke up at 7 then left at around 730. mr lim was again telling us about how he felt cheated by the words "introduction to XXX" hehe:) reminds me of beyond foundation physics... good times. anyways, i had 3hours and 15 mins of french at 9. but i sleep like the first 1.5 hours through. i can't say it, but i do like Madame better. At least...
Anyways, going to bath now. i didn't bath yesterday. hehe:)
